Getting Started
Learn how to set up your account and start using LogHue
Create Your Account
Signing up for LogHue is quick and easy. Visit our signup page and choose how you want to register:
- Email & Password - Create an account with your email address
- Google - Sign in with your Google account
- Microsoft - Sign in with your Microsoft account
- GitHub - Use your GitHub account for authentication
After verification, you'll land on your personal dashboard, ready to add your first task or note. Nothing needs to be set up before you can start using it.
Add Your First Task or Note
LogHue starts personal by default. Your tasks and notes belong to you until you decide to share them, so there's no setup step between signing up and getting your first thing down.
1 Create a Task or a Note
From your dashboard, click New Task or New Note. Give it a title and, if you like, a description.
2 Mark It Done When You're Done
Tasks can be checked off at any time. Completed tasks move into a separate section, and can be unmarked, deleted, or kept as a record.
That's the whole loop. No workspace, no invite, no setup required to start using LogHue for your own work.
Find Anything with Search
Press Ctrl+K (or Cmd+K on Mac) from anywhere in LogHue to open the command palette. It searches your tasks, notes, and workspaces at once, and understands shortcuts like typing "all tasks" or "all notes" to list everything of that type.
This is the fastest way to get around LogHue, and it works the same whether you're using it alone or inside a shared workspace.
Share with a Workspace (Optional)
When you want to collaborate, you can create a workspace and duplicate a task or import a note into it. The original stays in your personal list, untouched, so sharing something never means giving it up.
- Click "+ New Workspace" from the sidebar
- Give it a name and description
- Invite members by email, or by sharing a link or QR code
- Choose their role: Admin or Member
Workspace creation limits vary by plan. The Team plan offers unlimited workspaces. See the Workspaces and Roles & Permissions pages for the full picture of what happens once you're collaborating.
